Nothing’s Gonna Stop Us Now ist ein Lied der US-amerikanischen Band Starship, das am 30. Januar 1987 als Single aus dem Album No Protection ausgekoppelt wurde. Der Titel gehört neben We Built This City und Sara zu den erfolgreichsten Veröffentlichungen der Band und wurde ein Nummer-eins-Hit in den USA, in Großbritannien, Irland sowie in Kanada.
Nothing’s Gonna Stop Us Now wurde von Albert Hammond und Diane Warren geschrieben. In einem Radiointerview aus dem Jahr 1992 mit der BBC berichtete Hammond, dass er das Lied ursprünglich für sich selbst geschrieben hatte, bevor er seine damalige Freundin heiratete.
Das Stück wurde als einziges im Rahmen der Produktion des Albums No Protection in den Tarpan Studios des Produzenten Narada Michael Walden aufgenommen und abgemischt. Mit Ausnahme der Bandmitglieder Mickey Thomas, Grace Slick sowie dem Gitarristen Craig Chaquico griff Produzent und Schlagzeuger Walden auf Studiomusiker wie Walter Afanasieff (Keyboard) und Corrado Rustici (E-Gitarre) zurück. Den ebenfalls eingesetzten Linn-Drumcomputer programmierte Robert „Bongo Bob“ Smith. Ein besonderes Merkmal des Titels ist Narada Michael Waldens gleichermaßen detailreiches wie druckvolles Arrangement.
Der Titel war Bestandteil des Soundtracks zum Film Mannequin, welcher auch neben (I’ve Had) The Time of My Life von Bill Medley und Jennifer Warnes für die Oscarverleihung 1988 nominiert wurde.
