China Girl ist ein Lied von David Bowie und Iggy Pop, das sie in der Zeit schrieben, als sie in Berlin lebten. Erstmals erschien das Stück auf dem Album The Idiot von Iggy Pop im Jahr 1977. Wesentlich bekannter wurde das Stück durch die neue Aufnahme von David Bowie auf dem Album Let’s Dance (1983).Paul Trynka, der Autor der David-Bowie-Biografie Starman, schreibt in seinem Buch, dass das Lied durch die Beziehung zwischen Iggy Pop und der Vietnamesin Kuelan Nguyen inspiriert wurde
